SciComm and Q and A with a training astronaut candidate, Bethany Downer

Recently completed astronaut training in Florida following my candidate selection under project PoSSUM. This will highlight some of these experiences, as well as any questions. For a living I am a communicator for space, largely the European space industry. So will work to include scientific aspects and explanations of this training as much as possible.

The research explores the links between freely available satellite data and fine scale sedimentary observations; that builds a descriptive environmental and sedimentological facies maps in the worlds most biodiverse ecosystem. Brought to you by Dr. RHC Madden. (1:00am UTC on IG Stories)
